The demand for bake hardening steel plates comes from the actual use demand of automobile body outer panels. Such parts are often door outer panels, front and rear fenders, engine hood outer panels, trunk outer panels, etc. The actual work hardening phenomenon is not significant due to their small deformation during the stamping process, so the hardness improvement at this stage is not obvious.
Bake hardening automobile steel sheet has low yield strength during stamping, which is favorable for forming; In the baking process after the subsequent painting, the strength is further improved to achieve the relatively high strength in use, especially the anti sag performance.
